Taste and see that the Lord is good..
Psalm 34:8 says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
What am amazing weekend we've had. Oh how we can taste and see the Lord's goodness. Friday evening our team served another hot meal at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter. We saw new faces, heard more stories, and were given new opportunities to pray for more people. Earl was told, shown, and welcomed to visit the "tent city", a homeless community not far from the shelter,' due to our faithfulness of showing that we truly cared,' said one gentlemen. What a big deal that was!! Sunday we had 12 people join us for church. We had one of the men fighting migraine headaches all week get prayer and by the end of the service he no longer felt any pain. Healing from the Great Physician, Jesus, took place. PTL!!!

Ice cream social
Yesterdays ice cream event at the Salvation Army was a lot of fun. It was a time for them to just laugh and enjoy themselves and not worry about what lies down the road. We had a young couple who just arrived at the shelter, come to church with us. We talked to them before service and found out that they where both struggling with a meth addiction. They left there hometown and came to Bentonville to try to start over. Sad to hear that they where both brought up into this lifestyle. They truly are on there own with very little hope in sight. This is where we as the church need to step up to the plate and pour out Gods love upon them and show them the hope we profess. Please don't ever look at someone and say they are not worthy of salvation. We don't know the road they have traveled. Remember Jesus died for all.

Baptism
What a great day yesterdays dinner was. We where blessed to have a new couple join us, Jay and Pam serve at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter. This morning we where so blessed to have watched a couple from Salvation Army being baptized at church. It's so awesome to watch God move through His children when you bring the Word of Life to someone and see the power of Gods Word go to work. We got approval to host an Ice Cream Social next Sunday for the folks at Salvation Army. We're going to have them make their own sundaes and hoping to bring a little joy into a time of sorrow and uneasiness. May they see God's love pour out from us.

Saturdays Event
Saturdays evenings celebration was awesome. The food trucks where hard at work feeding all the locals and church members who attended. The games for the kids and adults, as well as the dunking both had long lines as well.Especially when the Pastor was sitting in the seat. Personally I would say that the fire truck shower was the high light of the evening. It was the biggest shower I have ever seen. The kids and adults had a blast in it.There was a beautiful rainbow in the middle of it. My wife and I where blessed to be able to bring a van full from the local Salvation Army. A young family attended church with us the next day and gave there lives to Christ. The results of the power of Gods love on display.

Salvation Army Update.
We started the month of July with outreaches on the 3rd &7th . Each time we go we are seeing more and more walls come down with those we feed. They are opening up to us emotionally with personal issues in there lives. They are becoming vulnerable because of the trust that is building between us. Pam prayed with Hannah and her husband Danial. Hannah was a broken vessel and was in need of some major encouragement and hope. Pam was ready to give them what she had, the love of Christ and the hope we have in Him. We are scheduled for the 17th &21st as well. Please pray that walls will continue to come down and the reception of the Gospel will enter into there hearts.

Salvation Army
We have another outreach at the Salvation Army tonight. Again we will be serving the guest dinner at the house. We will also pass out food bags for them during the day while the shelter is closed to them. They have to leave at 7am and are not allowed to return until 5pm unless the weather is too hot or too cold for them. That's a lot of time away from the shelter, so we wanted them to have something to snack on during that time.

First Outreach at the Salvation Army
Last night we served dinner to those who are staying at the shelter, including walk-ins. It was the first step for us so that we could see how things operate in the shelter and give us an idea on how we will be able to incorporate the gospel message while we prepare a meal to serve them. We also have some other idea's on how we will be able to bless them during the week when we are not there.

Pams Card Ministry
My beautiful wife has been doing a card ministry for over 25 years. I am so sad to say that I haven't spoken about this sooner. The response to here hand made cards including the beautiful uplifting word she put in them, have left a mark on those who receive them. She gets constant remarks back about how the card came at the right time with just the right words, because of something going on in there lives. When you let the Holy Spirit take the wheel He will set you up to help those going through difficult times. May we all allow the Holy Spirit to take the wheel of our lives, so that we may leave an impact in someone's life wherever we go. Amen.
Mens meeting speaking engagement
I will be speaking on the 26th at Ignite Church in Rogers, AR. A good friend of mine called me and asked if I would be interested in speaking to the men's group. The message will be about, how we as believers should react, and how we shouldn't react when difficult situations (storms) come into our lives. Its been heavy on my heart for my own self, as well as my fellow brothers in Christ. Many of us react to much like the world, and forget the promises God has given to those who are His. We all need to grow in this. Amen.

Speaking Engagement
I will be speaking on the 27th at Reset Church in Bentonville. The message I will be talking about is, how we as people ( believers) react to difficult situations differently in our lives. How we look at them and the way we go about dealing with them. Simply put how do we react to what we can see, hear or feel in our lives will determine the outcome of our lives.
We are holding off with our outreaches with the RMH until June. Moving this month to a new location and getting things setup. My wife and I pray a special blessings, and give a BIG Thank You to all the mother's out there this upcoming mother's day.

The Unlimited Power Of Christ
I have another wonderful testimony of the Lords goodness and power being displayed amongst his children trough there faithful prayers. A couple of weeks ago we got a call from our beloved friends who mean so much to us. Virginia called to let us know that her husband James who had been under Hospice care for several months had made his peace with his wife Virginia and the Lord, and was ready to go home and be with his Savior. The incredible pain he was suffering in his body do to a fall, as well as having to eat trough a tube was causing great weight loss which made him weak and fragile. My wife and I pray for him and asked our Lord that if this was his time to go home, that it would be soon, so his pain and suffering would come to a end. But we also prayed to our Lord that as long as he has breath in his lungs, it is never to late for a miracle to take place in his body. So we also spoke healing scriptures over him, for we know that His Words are truth.Virginia sent out a text a few days later and told us that Hospice was stopping the home care because there had been such a turn around in James, that they where no longer needed. All his pain had gone away and was gaining weight. Praise our Great and glorious God for we know, all things are possible to them who believe. Jehovah Rapha." The Lord who has Healed" Amen!!!

The Power of Prayer
Received a call from my good friend in Texas, Steven. He informed me that his mother was in ICU. His concern was that his mother was very week, very sick and going downhill fast. Her normal bodily function had shut down. He asked if my Wife and I could pray for her. I told him within 24 hours your mother will be well again. Less then 24 hours later he got in touch with me and told me that his mother is doing great and all bodily functions have returned to normal. Oh the power of answered prayers, and the influence it can have on those who see the power off our Lord and Savior. He is our healer. Amen.

Our Lord at work again
I am so excited to see how the Lord is working through us. Pam had a wonderful opportunity to pray for a 30 year plus Jehovah Witness who was struggling with a painful back issue. She told him that she was going to pray in the name that is above all names, the name of Jesus. Several hour's later she caught up with him and was told that all his pain was gone. The next word's that came from his mouth where, I didn't deserve it. Oh how I wish more Christians would say those word's, true word's of humility. He is now no longer a Jehovah Witness. Oh the precious blood of Jesus. Amen.

His healing power
Before I give the testimony, I just wanted to thank the Lord for allowing me to be an instrument to see His Glory released upon those who come to Him in need of a special touch. I meet Eric last Tuesday at church for the men's group, I've been leading who was brought by a friend who attends our church. I noticed that Eric eye's where both off center and that his left eye was almost closed. About half way through the meeting, I noticed Eric becoming very uneasy in his seat while his left leg began to shake non-stop. I stop the lesson at once and went back to him and started to pray for him. I commanded the spirit that was tormenting him to look at me and leave at once in the Name of Jesus. Suddenly his eye's opened wide and straightened out. I saw Eric again this week and his eye's look great. He told me he was due to have surgery next month, but now said it wont be necessary. He has given his life to Christ, the greatest miracle of all. Thank you Lord Jesus!!

RHM Update
The house was full for dinner. Its was great as we got a chance to share about our Lord's power to heal. You could see the different reactions when we where sharing evidence of His healing power and when we acknowledge Him as Lord. That's a good thing because it means the Holy Spirit is at work. When people see that you love the Lord it speaks for its self. We are working on new dates as well as new outreaches as the Lord directs us.

The Healing Lord
About 6 month's ago my chiropractic doctor asked me if I could give a patient of his the cancer protocol's I followed during my season going through cancer. A few days later I stopped in a gave him all the info he needed. I went in today to get an adjustment and my doc told me that the woman I gave the info to had cancer throughout her lung's, and had know spread to her liver. She was told she had maybe up to 2 years with chemo and radiation treatment or 6 month without. She decided to go without the treatments and follow the protocols. She went back to see the doctors after about 6 month's, and ran some test on her and found no cancer in the liver and only a marble size cancer cell in her lung's. The greatest protocol of coarse is the Word of God released trough prayer. I never met this woman but through prayer and standing on His Word, its not required. Zech. 4:6 says " It's not by might, nor by our power but by the Spirit of the living God." Give glory to God who is worthy of all praise and honor.

RMH Dates
We have scheduled the dates of Feb.17th and the 24th at the local RMH to feed the families. We will also serve food to those who cannot make it, at there rooms in the hospital. We believe and know that the Holy Spirit will move in a mighty way. The Lord told us in His Word that "whatever we put our hands to will prosper" Let it be written, Let it be said, Let it be done, for Jesus is Lord.

2018 Begins
It is good to be back. The surgery was a success and I'm on the recovery road. It was a tough stretch there for a while, but through your gracious prayer's the Holy Spirit gave me the strength I needed to endure. We will be contacting the local RMH next week to setup some outreaches for the families staying there. We ask that you join us in prayer this year that the body of Christ will have a supernatural upcoming 2018, bearing much fruit in our lives and for the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May each one of us become more useful and productive for our King.
