Paid4U Ministries joined with Reset Church for the yard sale to reach the community of Bentonville. Over 250 people showed up for the event. There was free food, free snow cones free items that ranged from all shorts of clothing, TV's, beds with mattresses and odd end items for the house.       The kids also got to enjoy the bouncy houses. The resident saw the love of Jesus in action.

Taste and see that the Lord is good..

Psalm 34:8 says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
What am amazing weekend we've had. Oh how we can taste and see the Lord's goodness. Friday evening our team served another hot meal at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter. We saw new faces, heard more stories, and were given new opportunities to pray for more people. Earl was told, shown, and welcomed to visit the "tent city", a homeless community not far from the shelter,' due to our faithfulness of showing that we truly cared,' said one gentlemen. What a big deal that was!! Sunday we had 12 people join us for church. We had one of the men fighting migraine headaches all week get prayer and by the end of the service he no longer felt any pain. Healing from the Great Physician, Jesus, took place. PTL!!!

Ice cream social

Yesterdays ice cream event at the Salvation Army was a lot of fun. It was a time for them to just laugh and enjoy themselves and not worry about what lies down the road. We had a young couple who just arrived at the shelter, come to church with us. We talked to them before service and found out that they where both struggling with a meth addiction.  They left there hometown and came to Bentonville to try to start over. Sad to hear that they where both brought up into this lifestyle. They truly are on there own with very little hope in sight. This is where we as the church need to step up to the plate and pour out Gods love upon them and  show them the hope we profess. Please don't ever look at someone and say they are not worthy of salvation. We don't know the road they have  traveled. Remember Jesus died for all.

Baptism

What a great day yesterdays dinner was. We where blessed to have a new couple join us, Jay and Pam serve at the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter. This morning we where so blessed to have watched a couple from Salvation Army being baptized at church. It's so awesome to watch God move through His children when you bring the Word of Life to someone and see the power of Gods Word go to work. We got approval to host an Ice Cream Social next Sunday for the folks at Salvation Army. We're going to have them make their own sundaes and hoping to bring a little joy into a time of sorrow and uneasiness. May they see God's love pour out from us.

Saturdays Event

Saturdays evenings celebration was awesome. The food trucks where hard at work feeding all the locals and church members who attended. The games for the kids and adults, as well as the dunking both had  long lines as well.Especially when the Pastor was sitting in the seat. Personally I would   say that the fire truck shower was the high light of the evening. It was the biggest shower I have ever seen. The kids and adults had a blast in it.There was a beautiful rainbow in the middle of it. My wife and I where blessed to be able to bring a van full from the local Salvation Army. A young family attended church with us the next day and gave there lives to Christ. The results of the power of Gods love on display.
